Short answer: The main BidAssist alternatives in India fall into two groups. Listing services such as TenderTiger, TendersInfo, TenderDetail, Tenderbook and Tender247 do what BidAssist does, crawl portals, send alerts and supply documents, at published prices from about ₹2,400 a year. AI bid tools such as Grovia Tender by Webzworld, Minaions and ContraVault add eligibility checks, Go/No-Go analysis and drafting. Pick a listing service if discovery is your only gap; pick a bid tool if you need help deciding and preparing.
Why look beyond BidAssist at all?
BidAssist (OfBusiness) is a capable aggregator: according to its website (September 2026) it covers 80,000-plus sources, all states and GeM, with results data and document downloads at ₹299 per tender or within plan limits. Its Standard plan is ₹14,000 for two years, all India.
People look for alternatives for three usual reasons: they want single-state coverage at a lower price, they want a different data mix (BOQ items, global tenders), or, most often, they realise that a list of notices does not tell them whether they are eligible or help them write the bid. Every product below is judged on the same question: what happens after the alert lands in your inbox?

1. Grovia Tender by Webzworld
We build it, so read this with that in mind, and check the others too.
Grovia Tender is not a cheaper listing service. It starts from your company: a Company DNA built from a plain-English wizard and the documents you upload. Every tender, whether it comes from our identified portal reader, a forwarded alert email, a licensed feed, a bring-your-own vendor key or a PDF you upload, gets the same pipeline: fit score, eligibility with the proving document per criterion, Bid Potential and Go/No-Go with reasons, a risk register, corrigendum diffs, an AI-drafted proposal traceable to your documents, an auto-filled document checklist, BOQ pricing you approve, and a final package with a portal checklist. Outcomes feed a private bid memory.
What we do not do: download documents from portals (our reader indexes public notice pages and links back), log in anywhere, or submit, sign or price on our own. Pro at ₹3,999 per month includes five prepared bids; the right comparison is a bid consultant, not a ₹500-a-month alert.
Best for: MSMEs and first-time bidders without a tendering team; consultants running many clients.
2. TenderTiger
According to its website (September 2026), TenderTiger processes around 10 million tenders a year and includes BOQ item data and results, which is useful if you price against line items. Pricing starts from ₹2,400 per year, with ₹1,000 per month and ₹100 per-tender options. Bid consultancy is a separate paid service. See our detailed TenderTiger vs Grovia Tender comparison.
Best for: teams that want BOQ-level data and pay-as-you-go access.
3. TendersInfo
TendersInfo covers all Indian states and global tenders, starting from ₹2,400 per year according to its services page (September 2026), with a custom API on request. Bid preparation is offered as consultancy. If you bid on international or multilateral work alongside Indian tenders, its global scope is a plus. We compare it in TendersInfo alternatives.
Best for: companies that need Indian and overseas coverage in one subscription.
4. TenderDetail
TenderDetail publishes clear tiers: Basic ₹2,999 per year for one or two states, All India ₹7,080 per year, and Premium ₹18,880 per year for domestic plus global, inclusive of GST per its subscription page (September 2026). Coverage of all states, corrigendum alerts and bid consultancy round it out. Read the TenderDetail vs Grovia Tender comparison for MSMEs.
Best for: state-focused MSMEs who want a simple annual plan.
5. Tenderbook
Tenderbook's Basic plan is ₹2,499 per year for one state and Standard is ₹9,000 to ₹11,000 per year for pan-India, with a custom Enterprise tier that includes an API, according to its pricing page (September 2026). Unusually, it also sells its tender data to software vendors, which makes it a common backend for other tools.
Best for: single-state contractors on a tight budget; developers who need a data feed.
6. Tender247
Tender247 does not publish subscription prices on its website; its bid-submission service is priced on request. It is a manual-service model: useful if you want a person to handle the portal, and a helpful benchmark for what "someone else does it" costs.
Best for: companies that want a done-for-you submission service rather than software.
7. Minaions and ContraVault
These are the closest to Grovia Tender in spirit. According to its documentation (September 2026), Minaions offers free search with ten eligibility checks a month, then pay-as-you-go credits for analysis and document generation, with no refunds and credit prices not published; it supports multiple company profiles and a GeM plus CPPP scan. ContraVault, according to its pricing page (September 2026), has Starter, Professional and Enterprise tiers priced on request with no free tier, and includes a Go/No-Go analyser, RFP synopsis, an AI RiskFinder and a proposal writing suite on every tier.
Where Grovia Tender differs: the Company DNA re-scores every tender instantly when your facts change, eligibility never shows PASS without a proving document, BOQ pricing requires explicit human approval, and the whole product is built for a user with no tendering experience. Neither Minaions nor ContraVault states a human-in-the-loop policy on its site; we enforce ours in code.
Best for: teams already comfortable with tendering who want AI analysis and drafting.
How to choose
Ask three questions:
- Do I know whether I am eligible before I open the document? If not, a listing service alone will keep costing you evenings. See tender eligibility criteria explained.
- Who writes the bid? If the answer is "me, at night", drafting from your own documents matters more than a bigger list.
- Do I need documents in the tool? Listing services deliver packages. Grovia Tender needs you to upload, forward or connect a feed; our reader gives notices.
Many customers combine a listing subscription with Grovia Tender: the alert arrives, they forward it, and the analysis is waiting. Start free, upload one tender and see eligibility with evidence before you decide. Plans are on the pricing page.
