Compare TendersInfo alternatives on published features and 2026 prices, and learn when an alert is enough and when you need an AI-prepared bid.

Short answer: TendersInfo is a tender alert service covering all Indian states and global tenders from ₹2,400 a year according to its services page (September 2026). Its direct alternatives are other listing services such as TenderDetail, TenderTiger, Tenderbook, BidAssist and Tender247, priced from about ₹2,400 to ₹18,880 a year. If your real gap is what happens after the alert, checking eligibility, deciding and writing the bid, the alternatives are AI bid tools such as Grovia Tender by Webzworld, ContraVault and Minaions.

What does TendersInfo do, and what does it not do?

According to its website (September 2026), TendersInfo aggregates tenders from all Indian states and international sources, sends alerts by keyword and location, and offers a custom API on request. Pricing starts from ₹2,400 per year. Bid preparation is available as consultancy.

That is a solid, low-cost discovery service with global reach. What it does not do, and does not claim to do, is read the tender against your company's facts. The notice arrives; whether you qualify, whether the EMD and PBG are worth it, and who writes the 40-page technical proposal are still your problems.

So the first question is not "which alert service?" but "which step of the process am I actually stuck on?"

Step 1: alerts. The like-for-like alternatives

If you simply want a different or cheaper feed, these listing services publish prices (all as of September 2026, from the vendors' own pages):

ServiceCoverage (per vendor)Published price
TendersInfoAll Indian states plus globalFrom ₹2,400/yr
TenderDetailAll states; domestic plus global on PremiumBasic ₹2,999/yr (1–2 states); All India ₹7,080/yr; Premium ₹18,880/yr (incl. GST per vendor)
TenderTiger~10M tenders/yr, BOQ items, resultsFrom ₹2,400/yr; ₹1,000/mo; ₹100/tender
TenderbookSingle-state and pan-India; data APIBasic ₹2,499/yr; Standard ₹9,000–11,000/yr; Enterprise custom
BidAssist (OfBusiness)80K+ sources, GeM, resultsBasic ₹5,000 / 2 yrs; Standard ₹14,000 / 2 yrs; ₹299/download
Tender247Alerts plus manual bid serviceNot published; the bid-submission service is priced on request

Choosing between them is mostly about geography and data type. TenderDetail's Premium tier is the closest match if you need TendersInfo's global scope. TenderTiger adds BOQ item data. Tenderbook and BidAssist have the lowest single-state entry points. All of them deliver the tender documents, which is a real advantage over tools that only index notices.

Step 2: eligibility and the decision. Where listing services stop

Every experienced bidder has lost a week to a tender they were never eligible for. The turnover clause said "average of last three years", the experience clause wanted "one work of 80% value", and nobody checked until the day before submission.

This is where AI bid tools start. Grovia Tender checks every criterion in the tender against your Company DNA and document vault, and marks it PASS, FAIL or NEEDS REVIEW with the specific document that proves it. It never marks PASS without evidence; if the proof is missing, it asks you for the document rather than guessing. The result feeds a Bid Potential score, a risk register (EMD, liquidated damages, performance bank guarantee, payment cycle, timelines) and a Go/No-Go recommendation with reasons in plain English. When a corrigendum changes a requirement, the amendment is diffed and your scores refresh.

ContraVault, according to its pricing page (September 2026), offers a Go/No-Go analyser, RFP synopsis and an AI RiskFinder on every tier, with Starter, Professional and Enterprise prices on request and no free tier. Minaions, according to its documentation (September 2026), offers free search with ten eligibility checks a month and pay-as-you-go credits beyond that, with credit prices not published.

If you want to understand the clauses yourself first, read tender eligibility criteria explained.

Step 3: preparing the bid. From alert to AI-prepared package

This is the largest gap between an alert and a submission, and the one that decides whether a small company bids at all.

Grovia Tender's bid workspace does the following, in this order:

  1. Proposal draft from your own facts: executive summary, technical approach, methodology, experience and declarations. Every claim is traceable to a document in your vault; gaps are surfaced as short questions rather than blank sections. See our guide to writing a technical proposal for what evaluators look for.
  2. Required-document checklist auto-filled from the vault. "We found 15 of 18 documents; upload the completion certificate for the warehouse project and we will attach it." Compare with the manual tender documents checklist.
  3. BOQ pricing: line items extracted, cost build-up and GST computed, nothing finalised without your explicit approval.
  4. Final bid package and portal checklist: every file named as the portal expects, plus step-by-step submission instructions. You submit on the portal yourself.
  5. Bid learning: record the outcome and the next bid starts smarter.

ContraVault lists a proposal writing suite and forms extraction; Minaions lists templates, financial proposal templates and bid assembly, according to their sites. Listing services offer this step as a paid consultancy, and Tender247 sells submission as a service.

What Grovia Tender does not do

Fairness cuts both ways. Grovia Tender is not a cheaper TendersInfo. Our identified portal reader indexes public notice pages of CPPP and state e-procurement portals and links back to the portal; it never logs in, solves CAPTCHAs or downloads documents. Tender packages enter the system when you upload them (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, ZIP or URL), forward alert emails to your private Grovia inbox, connect your own vendor subscription, or use a licensed feed. We also ingest World Bank and TED feeds for international work.

We do not hold twenty years of results data, and we do not offer BOQ market data across tenders. What we offer is the full chain from your company's facts to a reviewed, approved package, for a user with no tendering experience.

Pricing: compare against a consultant, not an alert

Grovia Tender is Free at ₹0, Pro at ₹3,999 per month (five bids, three users), Business at ₹14,999 per month (25 bids, team roles, analytics) and Enterprise on a custom agreement, with pay-per-bid from ₹1,999. GST is extra. Full details on the pricing page.

At first glance ₹3,999 a month against ₹2,400 a year looks lopsided. But they buy different things. A listing subscription buys notices. A Pro plan buys five checked, drafted and packaged bids a month. The sensible benchmark is a bid consultant or a junior tendering hire, or what a manual submission service charges per tender for the upload step alone.

A practical way to combine them

Most customers do not cancel their alert service. They forward the alert to Grovia Tender, upload the package they downloaded with their own portal account, and let the pipeline run. The alert service finds; Grovia Tender decides and prepares; the human approves and submits. Our security page explains how the human-in-the-loop guarantee is enforced.
